A perfect Fall plan? Make some homemade chicken soup and knit.
Here’s the recipe:
Take a pot of water and a chicken breast and bring to a boil until the chicken cooks. Take the chicken out and shred it then return it to the chicken stock. I personally add these flavors because I like them and they’re nice and warm and makes you feel cozy.
Garlic
Thyme
Celery salt
Cumin
Knorrs chicken bullion for extra chicken flavor
Salt
Add these to taste.
Then I added in some bowtie pasta to make the chicken noodle soup!
Here’s a tip: if you have extra broth left over, make up some dumplings (self rising flour, milk, butter and a dash of salt and maybe some sage) Throw them in there and keep the stock close to a boil but not to boiling or your dumplings will fall apart – and then you have a good pot of chicken and dumplings 🙂
