Forgiveness.

Today I visited my ex-husbands grave for the first time.

He was the one who gave me my first drug.

The one I supported when I started stripping.

The one I escaped from when I left to go to Mexico.
And I forgave him.
All of those things made me who I am today. Strong, resilient, able to overcome anything and the pain led me to Jesus. A few years before he died he also became a Christian.
I am thankful for my past. Even this part and I have been forgiven much so can forgive much.
Life is too short to hold onto the past. Forgive, learn, move forward and hope for tomorrow.
