Happy Monday! I have so many new friends here I wanted to take a moment to fill you in on something.
I have a passion for mentoring women to build a business for themselves. I LOVE helping women start a business from home and with hard work they can create extra income or even start a career full time. That comes from my own past. In my early 20’s I didn’t see any employment options and that led me to a 13 year career in Adult Entertainment.
After struggling with addiction and abuse I fought hard to get out of the industry. (Thankfully I now have over 25 years sober.) When I knew it was time for me to leave there was an issue. My resume didn’t look like anyone else’s. I personally hadn’t yet dealt with PTSD from years of sexual abuse. The few times I had tried to leave the industry were disasters. For example, I started working at a bagel place and when the managers found out what I had done for a living they got me drunk and made me strip to keep my job so… I went back to stripping.
When I left for good I took on four jobs and started to build a life I could love. I learned leadership and business skills so that I could build a business that I loved. Now with 30+ years of experience as an entrepreneur I know there is freedom, impact and joy in creating a life and business that helps others and that you love.
