This weekend we got to move into our new house. There’s still some things to do of course, but this place already feels like home. In my 51 years I’ve never had the opportunity to own my own home. I’ve gotten to move to amazing places internationally and here in the states so always rented in order to keep light on my feet. Being able to put roots down and especially in my beautiful hometown of Mount Sterling Kentucky makes my heart burst with joy.

The next couple of weeks are going to be a fun wild ride getting acclimated, tweaking some of the things that I want to change. This is a new build, but I want to paint a few things and really make it ours. More to come!
